How to set up your store

Welcome to iAmHealth. We are happy you are here.  We have created this “How To” Guide for new “Product or Media Store” users (not for users using store friending – such as physicians) to quickly and successfully get up and running on the iAmHealth platform and get to making money. These guides should be used in conjunction with the “How To” videos found in Customer Care

Please note, for full account set up we recommend using a computer rather than a smartphone or tablet.

BEFORE YOU SET UP YOUR STORE:

  1. Create and connect your merchant account first!

    1. Have your bank account info ready

  2. Create your store:

    1. Each product will need to be set up individually. You will need the following pieces of information to create each product:

      1. Category (drop down menu – pick the one that best describes the product) For videos – use Movie

      2. Title – What is the product name: “Healthy Living Vitamins”

      3. Description – Full length of product

      4. Price – Pre-tax sale price use only numbers and decimals

      5. SKU – if the manufacturer has a product SKU – input it here. Otherwise, Create one on your own. This field cannot be left blank

      6. Product Shippable?

      7. If yes, you will be required to enter a weight for product

      8. Images of product – you may upload multiple images for products,

 

NOW CREATE YOUR STORE:

  1. Create Store

    1. Select the tab “My Store”

      1. Select “Create a Store”.

      2. Fill in your store name. This should be descriptive of what you are selling. “Forest’s supplements Shop”

    2. Enter the email address where you want to receive notifications related to your store

    3. Enter your address

      1. This is not seen by anyone but you

      2. It is used to calculate tax and shipping cost if you have physical products.

    4. Press “Create Store”.

    5. Follow the steps to connect your Merchant Account.

  2. Add a merchant account:

    1. Have your bank account info handy

    2. Press the “Add new merchant account” button.

      1. You will be taken to Stripe’s website for authentication.

      2. Enter a valid email and cellphone number, your cellphone will be used for authentication.

    3. Enter the verification code in the respective boxes.

      1. If correct, you will be taken to the next screen.

    4. Here, fill out your payment information.

      1. When successful you will be redirected back to Store Management.

  3. Create your first product:

    1. Select “Manage Store”.

    2. On the left menu select “Create Product”.

      1. Fill out the product information.

      2. Make sure the product's SKU is unique

    3. If the product requires shipping, turn on the “shipping toggle”

    4. Upload one or several images to display with your product

    5. Press “Create Product”

  4. Advanced Stores:

  5. You are able to create multiple stores. They would be something you would do if you had more than one business with unrelated products (supplements and orthopedics).

  6. Go to Menu

  7. Create Store (use instructions above)

  8. Link Merchant Account

  9. If you have an existing stripe merchant account through iAmHealth, it will add this account after you verify on stripe.

Advanced Stores

  1. You are able to create multiple stores. This would be something you would do if you had more than one business with unrelated products (supplements and orthopedics).

    1. Go to Menu

    2. Create Store (use instructions above)

    3. Link Merchant Account

    4. If you have an existing stripe merchant account through iAmHealth, it will add this account after you verify on stripe.

PRO-TIPS:

We recommend using square images (this makes the display uniform across your stores)

You will get the best results when products have a unique image. (Ex: if you have an e-book & audiobook best to have images that have distinct identifiers that distinguish between the two items)
