How to set up your account

For full account set up we recommend using a computer rather than a smartphone or tablet.

Welcome to iAmHealth. We are happy you are here.  We have created this “How To” Guide for new “Account Setup” users to quickly and successfully get up and running on the iAmHealth platform and get to making money. These guides should be used in conjunction with the “How To” videos coming soon.

Start Here

 

BEFORE YOU SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT:

  1. Select your digital Pictures: Profile picture

    1. Picture of you if your followers identify with you as a follower

    2. Company logo or other picture that people associate with your brand

  2. Products, Services, or Store pictures

    1. Picture of something that represents what you are selling

      1. Author – you, a book cover, or a character

      2. Artist – a picture of a piece of your art

  3. “My Media” Section photo

    1. Similar to store – something that represents the type of media that you have. Media is everything that isn’t a physical product. Pictures, videos, audio files (music, podcasts…)

      1. Surfer/skater – wave,

  4. **If you don’t have a unique picture for store or media – it will default to your profile picture**

  5. Bio

    1. Keep it simple. Do you have a title?

      1. Forrest Gump – “Shrimp Boat Captain”. Amateur captain, professional lawn mower, long distance runner. Student of Life sharing weekly podcasts and interesting products and media along the way

      2. Business: Heavenly Boards – “Everything Surf and Skate on the Moon” Boards and Gear to make every surf and skate excursion out of this world

  6. Have your logins to social media handy & Apps downloaded:

    1. Linked In, Twitter and Reddit will require that you log in to accounts through iAmHealth

    2. Facebook and Instagram will require that you have the app downloaded, and you are logged in through those apps in order to post.

    3. Facebook Business Page Admin Login (if you are the admin and post here)

 

NOW CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT:

  1. Enter your Email address and create a password (you will be required to enter this once you download the app and sign in)

  2. You will need to click through and set up three tabs of information:

  3. Topics: the iAmHealth platform has a feed that pulls from other social networks. Type in topics that you are interested in seeing in your feed. (ie boating, tennis, American politics…) these topics can always be edited and added to by going to: Menu ⇾ Update ⇾ Update Feed Topics

  4. Account: basic personal/business information

  5. Photos: Profile photo only

  6. Topics:

    1. Click Add after each topic

    2. Click Save & Continue when complete with that page

  7. Enter your account Information

    1. Your name as you want it to appear on the account

      1. This is where you would enter the business name as well

    2. Enter Date of Birth

      1. For business accounts select a date that is before 2005

    3. Enter your phone number

    4. Only make your account private if you wish for no one to be able to see your account

    5. Click Save & Continue

  8. Upload your Profile Picture

    1. Click Finish Setup

  9. Once you complete setup, you will land on your feed. Scroll through and a few posts

Advanced Account

  1. Click on Menu in the upper right corner

  2. Profile Pictures

    1. If you have different pictures you want to use for Media & Store Sections upload them here

    2. Click Save

  3. Connect Social Networks

    1. Enter account information for LinkedIn, Twitter and Reddit in order to post to these networks

  4. Feed Topics

    1. If you wish to edit or add to your feed topics click on this menu item

    2. Add Topics

    3. Save

  5. Profile Settings

    1. From this menu item you can edit your name, email address, title

    2. This is where you would add your bio

    3. Edit your Username

PRO-TIPS:

For full account set up we recommend using a computer rather than a smartphone or tablet.

If you administer your Company Facebook page, you can link it to your Instagram Account in order to have the option to post to the Facebook business page while posting to

We recommend using square images, this makes the display uniform across your stores.
